Community Rules
Last updated: 30 October 2026
Applies to: Social, and what is shared in classrooms
In short. Social is public: anyone can read it, signed in or not. Post your own ideas and analysis as your own view, never as advice. No tips for money, no promises of returns, no posing as a registered adviser, nothing unlawful. If a post breaks these rules, tell us: we may remove it, and limit or close the account that posted it.
1. What these rules cover
On Social, users publish ideas, setups, analysis and discussions. A post can name a symbol, a direction (long or short) and entry, target and stop prices. Others can like posts and follow their authors, and a leaderboard lists authors by likes and followers: it shows popularity, not skill or results. Everything on Social can be read by anyone who opens it, including people who are not signed in. These rules also apply to what an instructor shares in a classroom (see the Classroom Terms).
2. What we welcome
- your own ideas, setups, analysis and questions, and the reasoning behind them;
- posts that make clear they are your view: what you think may happen, not what will happen;
- saying so in the post when you hold, or mean to take, a position in what you write about.
3. What is not allowed
- Advice or research for money: selling tips, calls or signals; inviting people to paid groups, channels or courses; giving investment advice or research as a business. For securities, Indian law requires a SEBI registration for these; on Social they are not allowed for any market;
- Promises: "guaranteed", "sure-shot" or "risk-free" returns, or results you cannot show;
- Posing: pretending to be a SEBI-registered adviser, analyst or broker, to be us, or to be anyone else;
- Moving markets: coordinated buying or selling to move a price, false or misleading information about a market, a company or a crypto-asset, and unpublished price-sensitive information;
- Asking for money or access: deposits, payments, account details, passwords or exchange keys;
- Harm to people: another person's personal data, harassment, threats, hate, sexual content, or anything that harms children;
- Harm to systems: malicious or deceptive links, spam, and the same post again and again;
- Others' work: content you have no right to use;
- anything else the law forbids, including content the Information Technology Rules require platforms to remove.
4. Reporting a post
xΛTrader does not yet have a button for reporting a post. Write to our Grievance Officer at [email protected] with the post's link or a screenshot of it, and the reason. If the post is about you, for example it shows you in a private or intimate way, uses your name or likeness, or puts your personal data on show, say so: we deal with those first, within the time the law sets. See Grievance Redressal.
5. What we do
We do not check posts before they are published. When we learn that a post breaks these rules or the law, we may remove it, limit what the account can post, suspend the account, or close it, depending on how serious and how repeated the breach is. Where the law requires, we keep the information it asks for and give it to the authorities. Where we can, and the law allows, we tell the author what we did and why.
6. If your post was removed
You can ask us to look at the decision again: write to [email protected] within 30 days, from your account's e-mail address. If you are still not satisfied, the Grievance Redressal page says where you can appeal.
7. Your responsibility
You are responsible for what you post. Posts are their authors' views, not ours, and they are not advice (see the Risk Disclosure & No Advice). What you post stays yours, under the permission described in section 7 of the Terms of Use.
