Risk Disclosure & No Advice
Last updated: 30 October 2026
Applies to: everything xΛTrader shows and calculates
Important. xΛTrader is software for researching and testing trading ideas. It gives no investment, financial, tax or legal advice, places no orders, and holds no money or crypto-assets. Trading can lose you money quickly, and leveraged products can lose the whole amount committed.
1. What we are not
MwSoftware Private Limited is not registered with the Securities and Exchange Board of India (SEBI) as an investment adviser, research analyst, stock broker or portfolio manager, and is not regulated by the Reserve Bank of India. We do not:
- give investment, financial, tax or legal advice, or recommend any security, crypto-asset or trade;
- place orders with any broker or exchange, or route orders for anyone;
- hold, manage or move money or crypto-assets, or trade on anyone's account;
- promise any return.
2. What the numbers are
Indicators, signals, rankings, market movers, backtests and run results are calculations from the rules a user sets and the data received. They are not recommendations, and a rule that fires is not advice to trade.
3. Results are hypothetical
Backtests, walk-forward tests and simulated runs show what a set of rules would have done under the assumptions used, including modelled fees and fills. Real trading differs: prices move between a signal and an order, orders can fill partly or at worse prices, markets can gap or halt, and costs vary. A strategy tuned on past data often does worse on new data; a walk-forward test reduces that risk but does not remove it. Past and simulated results do not predict future results.
4. Simulated live runs
In a live run, every order is simulated against live prices using a practice credit that has no cash value. Nothing is sent to an exchange. A real order at the same moment could fill differently, or not at all.
5. Market data
Market data comes from third parties, such as exchanges' public data services. It can be late, incomplete, wrong or interrupted, and we do not guarantee it.
6. Social and classrooms
Posts on Social, including setups with a direction and price levels, are their authors' own views. They are not checked, endorsed or published by us, and they are not advice. The Social leaderboard counts likes and followers; it does not measure anyone's skill or results. When an instructor uses xΛTrader in a class, the strategies shown are teaching examples, not recommendations. See the Community Rules and the Classroom Terms.
7. The risk of trading
Trading carries a substantial risk of loss. Leveraged products, including perpetual futures, can lose the whole amount committed very quickly, through price moves, funding costs and forced liquidation. Crypto-assets are highly volatile and are not legal tender in India, and a loss on them can be total. Gains may be taxed. Only you can judge whether a trade suits your circumstances; consider advice from a SEBI-registered investment adviser.
8. Your responsibility
You alone are responsible for your trading and investment decisions and their results. To the extent the law allows, MwSoftware is not liable for any loss arising from them.
